Dark angels attempt to recover Geneseed

The necrons invade an imperial home world after Fleshrender the skorhpek lord heard over an intercepted transmission. He set off for destruction his one goal to stop the adeptus astartes from reclaiming their Gene seed. The dark angels sent to dispatch this Xenos threat quickly realized how aggressive these particular necrons were. The dark angels were pushed back by the heavy assault from these Harbingers of night. The Harbingers after obtaining and destroying some of the dark angels geneseed prepared themselves to attack deeper into the system.

The Dark Angels dispatched to recover their geneseed where ambushed by a particularly aggressive necron force. This force calling themselves the Harbingers of night seem to only care for one thing, destruction. The Dark angels put up a valiant fight but ultimately failed in recovering all of their Geneseed. Unsure as to what these necrons would do with their geneseed the dark angels set off to recoup and plan their next assault.
